They don’t start at eight o’clock.

1 Talk about your weekend.

In Unit 2 of this module, we talk about our school day. Now, we are going to talk about our weekend. At our weekend, we don’t go to school. We can do many other interesting things besides study. What do you do at your weekend? Is your weekend different from your school day? Talk about your weekend with your classmates.

I don’t go to school on Sunday.I go to the park on Sunday. I have fish and rice for lunch at 12:30. I play basketball at 3:30 in the afternoon with my friends. I watch cartoons on TV at 6:00 in the afternoon. I have supper at 7:00. I have noodles and vegetables for supper. I do homework from 8:00 to 9:00 at night. I drink a bottle of milk before going to bed. I go to bed at 10:00 at night.

2 Write the sentences about Jack.

Jack is a boy. He goes to school in his school day. What can we see from the pictures below? When does Jack get up? When does he go to school? Write the sentences about Jack in the following box.

1 I get up at seven. I don’t get up at half past seven.

2 I go to school at eight. I don’t go to school at half past eight.

3 I have lunch at twelve. I don’t have lunch at half past eleven.

4 I leave school at four. I don’t leave school at three.

3 Complete the sentences with at, in or on.

We say in the evening. We say at night. We also say at seven o’clock on Saturday. I get up at six o’clock in the morning. I have supper at 6:00 in the evening on Monday. Please complete the following sentences with at, in or on.

To practise what we learn this week, we shall go to page 47 and complete the table with information about our school day. On the left side of the table, there are many activities. On the right side, we need to fill in their times. When do you get up? I get up at 6:00 in the morning. Complete the table like this.

6 Write a paragraph called My school day.
